MidAmerican Energy understands that many of our customers are interested in the benefits of electric vehicles (EVs), which is why we built a multi-faceted program to make EVs more affordable and accessible in our service territory.

Lead the charge with us!
Financial rebates for both residential and business customers and a first-of-its-kind EV fast-charging network will increase the adoption of EVs, support the Iowa Energy Plan and offer customers ways to save money on transportation costs.
Industry experts estimate EVs will reach nearly 60% of total new vehicle sales in the U.S. by 2050. And each year, more business owners install EV charging stations and automakers announce a wider range of vehicle types, plus nearly all models now have a range of 150 miles or more per charge. So, what are you waiting for?
Making low-emission driving more attractive and accessible goes hand-in-hand with our 100% renewable energy vision for Iowa. In Iowa, the positive impact of driving an EV is amplified because you’re charging your vehicle with electricity generated from the wind.
