We’re always adding more options. You can specify which notifications you want to receive and your preferred communication method for each one in your My Account.
Text and/or email notifications are available for a variety of topics, including:
- Bill Due Reminders – Friendly reminders that your bill is due soon
- Bill Past Due Reminders – Friendly reminders when your bill is past due
- Budget Billing Review Alerts – Notifications for Budget Billing customers to inform you when your budget is reviewed and if the monthly payment amount changed
- Outage Notifications – Updates about power outages at your property including the cause, crew movements and estimated time of restoration when available. Sign up for text alerts.
- Payment Confirmations – Notifications to confirm when MidAmerican Energy has received your payment, great for customers on recurring payment
- Welcome Series Messages – Emails with helpful information for new customers or customers who have recently moved
- Business E-News – Bi-monthly emails with news and offerings for commercial customers from MidAmerican
- Residential E-News – Bi-monthly emails with news and offerings for residential customers from MidAmerican
