EEO is the Law. It is MidAmerican Energy’s policy to provide and promote equal employment opportunity to all employees and applicants for employment in accordance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations governing personnel activities. In accordance with federal guidelines, MidAmerican Energy is committed to a program of affirmative action for work sites in the U.S.
If any applicant believes they have been discriminated against or desires further information or assistance, they should contact our HR Helpline at 800-432-8999.
MidAmerican Energy's Family Medical Leave Policy complies with all applicable federal and state laws. In general, family medical leave is administered according to the Family Medical Leave Act of 1993 and the National Defense Authorization Act of 2008. The administration of this policy complies with applicable state law where such state law provides a greater benefit. FMLA does not affect any federal or state law prohibiting discrimination or supersede any state or local law or collective bargaining agreement that provides greater family or medical leave rights.
