You can learn a lot about wind conditions just by flying a kite. If you don't have a kite, try making
one on your own. Let's get started!
- Look in the
TOOLKIT (the box at the right) to find a list
of materials you need.
- Select the View Instructions button below the
TOOLKIT. Then, follow the instructions on how to cut the kite.
- IMPORTANT: Before you fly your kite, watch out for electrical wires and other things the kite might get caught on. If you have any doubts, do not fly the kite.
- You are ready to fly your kite! Notice how wind conditions vary. In some places, the wind is steady. In other places, the wind is
turbulent.
