Credit/Debit Card Payments 
MidAmerican Energy accepts payments via ChoicePay®, a utility bill payment center.
ChoicePay adds a processing fee to all debit and credit card payments. ChoicePay accepts:

ChoicePay's processing fee can be verified by calling
877-839-2465. A credit/debit card payment and processing fee will appear on your monthly credit card statement.
Have the following information available before contacting ChoicePay: your MidAmerican account number, your service address, the amount of payment and your debit or credit card information (including the three-digit number on the back of your card).
There are two ways to make a payment using ChoicePay:

Call 877-839-2465 to speak with an
associate Monday - Friday, 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. or
to use their 24-hour automated touch-tone system. A processing fee will be charged by ChoicePay. |

Pay online via ChoicePay's Web site. A processing fee will be charged by ChoicePay.
Accessing the ChoicePay link will take
you to a Web site separate from this Web site and any other MidAmerican Energy
Holdings Company Web site. |
If a payment is made for a pending disconnection or reconnection of service, call
MidAmerican at 888-427-5632 with the ChoicePay
transaction number, which confirms the payment.
Payments submitted by 3 p.m. CST daily will be
posted to your MidAmerican account the next business day. Payments made after 3 p.m. CST will be
posted to your MidAmerican account within two business days, excluding federal holidays. Processed payments cannot be canceled.
