Save some green by adding insulation – it makes good business sense. Inadequate insulation and air leakage are causes of wasted energy at your business. Insulation is measured in R-value – the higher the R-value, the better the insulating property. Consider the following benefits of adding insulation:

Eligible Insulation

		All types approved by local building codes;
		Infiltration control measures such as weather stripping, caulking, foam backer rod, etc. Building wrap products do not qualify;
		Attic/roof and sidewall applications; and
		Program adding insulation beyond code requirements in new buildings and installing insulation in existing buildings.

Insulation in new buildings may be eligible for rebates under MidAmerican’s Commercial New Construction program or this Insulation program for projects greater than Iowa Energy Code.

The program is available to all nonresidential natural gas and electric customers in MidAmerican’s Iowa service territory. Qualifying projects are eligible for rebates or financing.
