EnergyAdvantage® New Homes Program

MidAmerican is helping our Illinois customers recognize and realize the outstanding long term value inherent in energy-efficient new homes. The EnergyAdvantage New Homes program provides builders with a comprehensive list of prescriptive measures designed to significantly improve the energy efficiency of the homes they build. The program helps you and your builder through the design, specification and building process so that you complete the home building process with an energy-efficient, affordable and comfortable new home. The program is available to new single-family home construction in Illinois. Comprehensive, energy-efficient Illinois builder rebates up to $1,750 per home pay approximately 50 percent of the incremental cost of the upgrades. The 2009 New Homes Program Field Verification form now can be completed online. Once completed, the form must be printed and sent to the address listed on the form; it can not be electronically sent.
