Customer Guide: Protecting Your Account Information

Keep specific MidAmerican Energy account information confidential.
Be aware that account and meter numbers are the validation criteria provided to MidAmerican
by retail electric suppliers or agents to switch a customer or obtain information on a customer's account.
You can request to prevent, or block, the release of your historical customer information, by
fax (563-336-3568), letter (MidAmerican Energy Support Services, P.O. Box 4350, Davenport, IA 52808) or by calling MidAmerican:

If you choose to block release of your account information and decide later to
unblock it, you must notify MidAmerican in writing.
Do not provide your account and meter numbers to anyone unless you intend to switch or you have authorized their access to your account information. |
