Delivery of your power remains the same – As a local electric utility, MidAmerican Energy continues to be responsible for providing a reliable distribution system and electric delivery service. Customers can count on the same reliable delivery service from MidAmerican, no matter who supplies or generates the electricity. How to find a new supplier – To serve MidAmerican customers, a supplier must be certified by the Illinois Commerce Commission and also must register with MidAmerican as a supplier. There currently are no suppliers registered with MidAmerican to serve customers within MidAmerican's service territory.
