Heating and Cooling Equipment Programarrows

Eligible Equipment
Rebates are available for high-efficiency natural gas and water heating equipment or electric heating and cooling equipment. Equipment installed in new construction, replacement units and retrofits in commercial and industrial facilities in MidAmerican Energy's Iowa service territory are eligible. Energy for which the incentive is paid must be purchased directly from MidAmerican Energy. The program includes:
  • Chillers
  • Programmable thermostats
  • Air conditioners (central and room type)
  • Air-source and ground-source heat pumps
  • Package terminal air conditioners and heat pumps
  • High-efficiency natural gas furnaces and natural gas boilers
  • Efficient furnace fan for natural gas furnaces
  • Electric and natural gas water heaters – with tank and tankless
  • Heat pump water heaters
  • Environmental disposal of room air conditioners
